About Indian Wells Golf Club (Garden City, SC)
Rated three stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play," this challenging Gene Hamm design has water on 15 of 18 holes. There are a number of daunting holes here; however, the course is known best for the 410-yard, par-4 ninth hole, which is part of the Grand Strand's original "Dream 18." Although water is always near, the course plays more open than you'd think with room for the occasional missed drive. Managed by Classic Golf Group, Indian Wells was named "2004 Myrtle Beach Golf Course of the Year."

There was a large league of golfer playing the same day as us - very crowded and noisy. Improved after a few holes. A very difficult course for 20-30 handicap golfers.
