About Prestwick Country Club (Myrtle Beach, SC)
Prestwick Country Club is classic in design and offers players incomparable looks and challenges. Many consider this Pete and P.B. Dye masterpiece to be one of the finest golf courses on the Grand Strand. It is no wonder Golf Digest chose Prestwick as one of their five best kept secret golf courses in America in 2004. The infamous seventeenth hole, an evil 531-yard par 5, is regarded as one of the most difficult eighteen holes in Myrtle Beach. The course features include dogwood lined fairways, 35-foot berms, alluring wildflowers, timber-rimmed bunkers and pristine lakes and streams. This magnificent layout offers six sets of tees for any caliber of golfer, and plays to a length of 7,058 yards from the tips.
