About Black Bear Golf Club (Longs, SC)
The pros at Black Bear invite you to "take a walk on the wild side." The beautiful Tom Jackson parkland-style design was sculpted out of a dense land full of hardwoods and pines. There are no homes on the property, providing a pure golf experience without any outside distractions. With top notch course conditions, a popular grillroom, and great customer service, Black Bear is one of the most enjoyable courses in Myrtle Beach. Managed by Classic Golf Group, this terrific course is rated 3 1/2 stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play."

A very tough golf course. Narrow fairways and well guarded greens. A real test, but fair. Everyone in the foursome enjoyed it. This early in the season didn't give the fairways enough time to recover and we had alot of tight lies.
