Grande Dunes Resort Course ~ 1.96 miles (Not Driving Distance)
As the centerpiece of an exclusive resort-residential community, Grande Dunes sets the standard for golf along the Carolina Coast. The Roger Rulewich design was nominated for Golf Digest's "Best New Course in America" award for 2001 and continues to receive accolades as time goes on. The layout is over 7600 yards from the tips and is located on an elevated bluff overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway with outstanding views to the Atlantic Ocean less than a mile away. Tidewater Golf Club ~ 11.88 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Ranked by Golfweek as the 5th best public-access course in South Carolina, Tidewater sits on a high peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Truly set on a remarkable piece of land, the beautiful layout winds its way through woodlands, tidal creeks, and marshlands. It's amazing, but don't just take it from us. River Hills Golf & Country Club ~ 12.22 miles (Not Driving Distance)
A pleasant blend of old and new design features, frequent elevation changes, plenty of water, and tall stands of trees make this a more than challenging test of golf. The Tom Jackson design opened in 1989 and was immediately nominated by Golf Digest as "Best New Course." River Hills will keep the best golfers on top of their game the entire round.... more info.
Farmstead Golf Links ~ 14.89 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Farmstead has gained recognition for its mammoth par-six 18th hole. Yes, you read that right, a par six! The tee box on the 767-yard hole is set in South Carolina, and the green is actually in North Carolina. Is it a gimmick? Not really. It's different, but it's a well-designed hole. The remaining 17 holes are also a delight to play. Originally designed by Willard Byrd, the club recently brought Dave Johnson in to make some enhancements to the layout. The results are impressive!
